STAY HUMBLE.

You have nothing to prove

Take time,

It’s time,

Time to see what is unseen.

To clean a wound, trust that the only way to heal is to open up the surface crust and scrub the pus out. Is that graphic enough? Is that gross enough? 

Don’t cling to the past, hurts, loves, successes and failures, they don’t belong in the world you are entering. They can’t come with you. 

Release into the knowledge of how and where you have grown, 

AND 

Allow yourself to accept how much of your personal growth is yet to come. 

It’s alright to be a beginner, once again, once over again. 

Have you let go of just about everything you need to in order to start your next chapter?

I do say just about, because we have days ahead of turmoil, release, and purging. Events this month revive the dead. Ghosts from 2008 populate November with jump-scares, empty threats, aha moments and wry realizations. 

How many days? 

Well, 19. After that, we will still have plenty of turmoil, but we will be all set on that flavor of familial purging, at least for now. 

This is the month Pluto says goodbye to Capricorn. From the 19th of November we have Pluto in Aquarius on and on and on for 20 years.

Conversely/Simultaneously it’s a time of sowing,  P L A N T  Y O U R   S E E D S

Inspiration is real, and so is a pinch in your pocket book or a sacrifice of your heart… 

Things begun now will last.

Are we building community one way or another?

Are we building relationships that support our vision of a possible future, even as we release the darkest shards and fragments of our past, the literal mud, blood, and shit of our shame. 

Who stands beside us ?

Whom do we welcome?

New life springing up amidst the decay, 

Scorpio as the source.

Scorpio as the wound.

Scorpio as invisible power including the power of restraint. 

There’s nothing you should do “at any cost” this month; the costs are part of the equation. With reasonable certainty set your plans in motion. 

Which way to turn?

Scorpio doesn’t care about art or artifice, Scorpio cares about the source of power, about the life coursing through your veins. No wonder vampires are popular this time of year! 

The sky is so busy. So richly full of violence and hope and challenge and change, obfuscation, being thwarted and helped. We become wealthy with dreams of the future, only to face delays and setbacks, we recalibrate and set our hope anew. Dynamic, fertile, dangerous territory. The costs are high and the rewards nearly infinite.

Can I advise you?

I could say “You only own or belong to yourself to the extent that no one can provoke you.”  But why be mean? 

You belong to yourself whether provoked or not.

Instead, how about this:

 Your mastery of self-trust has a lot to say about how well you will enjoy this month.

 

Rebecca Solnit reminds us that :

Despair is a form of certainty…

Careless words have unintended consequences.

Action packed is an understatement. 

Beware:

power struggles 

manipulation

arrogance (especially your own)

In honor of Pluto in Aquarius, let's have a quote from Ray Bradbury, he writes: 

- I think life is too serious to be taken seriously -

Keep your peace. 

Keep it in your heart. 

This month more than anytime I can remember, the key is to listen. Listen to the rhythms of what life is telling you. Listen to hear when to hang on, Listen to hear when to let go. 

Listen to what reality itself is asking of you. 

As we breathe in now, air enters your body, and becomes your body. You are alive in a living universe. Here, there are no meaningful separations between the molecules that surround you and the molecules that describe you. I’m so glad you are alive and breathing here with us.
